It's disheartening when we believe we lack what it takes to achieve our goals. It's true that there will always be someone smarter, faster, or more skilled than us. But acknowledging this fact shouldn't be an excuse to give up. When our insecurities arise, we often disqualify ourselves before even starting the race.
We must recognize that there is a real enemy who seeks to undermine our dreams, aspirations, and well-being. John 8:44 says, “. . . [The devil] was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” The devil distorts our perceptions, causing us to doubt ourselves and others, leading us astray from God's path.
However, God calls each of us with a purpose, and when He does, He also provides strategies to accomplish His will. Just as He gave strategies to Joshua to conquer the Promised Land and to Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, He offers divine intelligence to us.
Proverbs 19:21 emphasizes that God's purpose will prevail over our own plans. It's not about being "smart enough"; it's about receiving divine strategies—what we can call "God Intelligence"—from the Lord to overcome our challenges. This intelligence is more valuable than any academic degree or worldly knowledge.
Hebrews 4:16 says, “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
We have the privilege of approaching God's throne boldly, as Hebrews 4:16 tells us, to receive His mercy and grace when we need it most. So, instead of disqualifying ourselves, let's seek God's intelligence for our situations. Let's continue praying and asking for divine strategies and solutions, trusting that He will guide us every step of the way.
Dear God, thank You for knowing us well and for the ability to hear Your voice. We lift up all our concerns to You, asking for Your guidance and wisdom on how to handle each situation in a way that brings honor and glory to You. Thank You in advance for Your answers and solutions. Amen.
