Day 21: I am damaged and unrepairable.

Situations in life happen that are out of our control. Tragedy. Abuse. Trauma. Death. Illness. It causes unimaginable pain and wounds. Healing takes time and is a process. The wounds that once seemed fresh and raw have now become a part of our identity. It feels like these wounds will now be with us forever. The enemy wants us to believe that WE ARE THESE WOUNDS. The enemy wants to skew our identity and make us believe that healing and restoration are unattainable and impossible.

Exodus 15:26 says, “I am the Lord who heals you.” This is one of the core characteristics of God. He is our healer.

1 Peter 2:24 says that by the wounds Jesus received, “you are healed.”

YOU. ARE. HEALED.

Notice that it did not say, “you will be healed”. It says, “you are healed, which is past tense. Why? When Jesus was killed on that cross, He paid the price, which included paying the price for sickness and disease. The cost for your healing has already been paid with His blood and His broken & beaten body. Now, it’s time for that healing to come forth because it is already yours. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep declaring your healing over your mind, body, and soul. YOU. ARE. HEALED.
