Day 39: Truth: There is still hope

Day 39: Truth: There is still hope

It’s Saturday, the day after Jesus died. It is a day of mourning for the disciples. Their beloved Savior was killed. They are overcome with sadness, grief, and despair. The man they had followed closely for three years was gone. It was a dark day.

Perhaps you find yourself in a similar "Saturday" season of life. Your "Friday" has come and gone, leaving you stunned by the unexpected turn of events. The pain is overwhelming, leaving you speechless and paralyzed by fear, unable to move forward in the wake of tragedy.

Sunday is coming. The disciples did not know this, but we do. In the middle of the darkness, we know the victory is just beyond the horizon. We don’t always have control over how long our Saturday is, but we do have control on what we choose to focus on. Sunday is coming. God is working. Breakthrough is on its way. Victory is yours because Jesus paid the price. Hence, there is still hope, because the nails were never strong enough to stop the power of the blood!

Sunday is coming.
